Aluminum honeycomb core is manufactured by processing aluminum foil and specialized aluminum honeycomb node adhesive on the aluminum honeycomb core production line. The factors that affect the performance of aluminum honeycomb core materials mainly include parameters such as aluminum foil, node adhesive, and honeycomb core specifications.
1、 The specifications of aluminum honeycomb core are determined by the thickness of aluminum foil and the size of honeycomb holes. Different specifications of aluminum honeycomb have different densities and mechanical properties, and their costs also vary greatly. For example, the cost difference between commonly used specifications of composite panel specific honeycomb core and microporous honeycomb core can reach several times.
2、 The node adhesive should be epoxy modified high-temperature curing adhesive, which not only provides sufficient bonding strength but also has excellent environmental resistance and high and low temperature resistance. The common adhesive, due to its low strength, is often prone to delamination of the aluminum honeycomb core, causing overall damage and instability.
3、 Aluminum foil should be of grade 3003 or 5052, and strict surface treatment should be carried out during the processing. In products with high strength or durability requirements, aluminum honeycomb core materials made of 1100 pure aluminum foil should be used with caution.
